Welcome to our downloads page.  Here we have some simple files that can be used to either build a chicken house or set up a planting calendar.  They are virus checked, but you should always make sure your machine is fully protected before downloading files.

Quest Planting Calendar

A simple chart showing the growing year and what to sow and harvest at the relevant time.  We use this and it is still being added to and improved, but its a great starting point, especially if you have never grown before.

Quest Chicken House

We made our own chicken house because it was a lot cheaper, about 50% cheaper in fact.  In addition we also learnt a lot about what chickens needed in terms of space, perch size, nest boxes etc..  It is still working well today and its occupants seem fine and healthy.  If you would like to build the same or similar then feel free to download the pdf file.

Bumble Bee Nest Box

With the decline of Bumble Bee numbers, we thought we would try to gather the best information around to try and get Bumble Bees to use artificial boxes as nesting sites.  This pdf file shows the details as yet un-proven.
